How ScheduleMyWedding works

Build one complete timeline, assign each activity to its owners, then print tailored run sheets.

Recommended workflow

  1. Enter the event details in Overview: title, couple, date and day start.
  2. Add every location the day touches, with travel time to the next stop.
  3. Add your contacts and vendors so key people are one tap away.
  4. Build the master timeline: start time, duration, location and owners for each item.
  5. Watch the amber warnings. They flag overlaps and transitions that are too tight.
  6. Open Run sheets, pick an audience and print or save a PDF for each vendor.

Professional use

Each run sheet carries the event title, couple, date and audience so there is no confusion on the day. Use your browser's Print → Save as PDF option to create files you can email to vendors, or Print all role sheets to produce every audience's sheet in one document, one page per role.

Owners are roles, not names. Assign "Photographer" to an item and it appears on the photographer's sheet. Add custom roles (band, stylist, security) from the Master timeline toolbar.

Offline use

After the first visit on a secure connection, the app keeps working without internet, handy at venues with poor reception. Changes save automatically to this browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded: there are no accounts and no tracking.

To keep it handy, open your browser menu and choose Add to Home Screen or Install app.

Backup and transfer

Important: your run sheet does not travel between devices by itself. The backup is a file, and a file has to be carried across, just like a photo.

  1. On the device that HAS your schedule, click Export project (top right). A file downloads, usually into your Downloads folder, named something like ScheduleMyWedding-BACKUP-your-names.json.
  2. Send that file to yourself. Email it to your own address, message it on WhatsApp, AirDrop it, or pop it on a USB stick. This step is the one people miss, and without it the new device has nothing to import.
  3. On the new device, open that email or message and save the file so you can find it (Downloads is fine).
  4. Open the app on the new device and click Import project, then choose the file you just saved. Your whole schedule appears exactly as you left it.

Export after every planning session and keep the newest file in your email or cloud drive. Clearing browser data removes the schedule from a device, so a recent backup is your safety net.
